Please - consider making a flyer, put it in a plastic sleeve or clear bag and attach it to your mailbox or a stake in your yard. Someplace where passers by or delivery drivers can see it, as they might know where the dog came from. Be sure to contact your local Animal Control with a description as this is usually the first place people check for a lost pet. Anyone who claims this beautiful gal can provide you with proof of ownership. Thank you for caring!

Thank you for helping this baby. After checking with neighbors, can you take him/her to check for a chip? If they say no chip, please have them do several full body scans as chips can move and scanners can fail/be faulty. A woman brought a dog to the vet and they said no chip. They brought it to another vet who checked the entire body and found the chip.

Please get it checked for a microchip. Any vet's office can do it. You can also ask AC they have scanners in their trucks. It would be better if you could hang on to it instead of the shelter. Shelter must be notified that you have him in case someone goes looking for him there
