oh, so sad. This is the first time I’ve seen your post. If he is indoors only perhaps a neighbor took him in or he is still hiding nearby looking for his home.

My cat went missing in Lakemont. A neighbor contacted animal control. She was taken to Kent Animal services for King County. You may want to check with them. I hope you get him back.
