Message from Owner

POLLUX has never been outside! We are worried out of our minds right now.😢😭 He is almost 2 years old. We think he may have snuck past someone in the doorway and got outside on Saturday evening(7-18-26) He has no knowledge or experience with cars or other cats/wildlife etc. I can only imagine he's scared out of his wits! He may be hiding underneath a car or a shed etc. PLEASE let us know if you happen to see him or know where he might be. YOU CAN CALL OR TEXT,DAY OR NIGHT AT: FOUR-5-EIGHT-86-SEVEN-EIGHT-12-SEVEN OR 5-FOUR-1-SIX-0-SIX-02-ONE-8 A reward is being offered for the safe return or information leading to the safe return of our "Polly".🙏😪 Thank you for your help in advance.❤️

Knock on neighbours doors and put out flyers everywhere. Do offer rewards. Also go out in the night. You can hear him better then. Check the pounds too. Airtags on collars help greatly.

General Information: Indoor cats are usually close to home. Check any and all hiding places in your home - closets, under side of mattress. Hang clothes with your scent on it (Worn clothing from owner) high up outside so the familiar scent can travel and guide the cat back home. NOT A LITTER BOX OR FOOD. Ask your neighbors to check their yard/could be accidently stuck in their garage or shed. (If applicable) Check doorbell or home camera - or ask neighbors to check their camera. Post Fliers with a picture of the cat and your contact information in the area the cat went missing. Not everyone is on Social Media and posters have worked in that if spotted a location can be provided. If a cat is scared they make themselves safe by finding a good hiding spot and often times hide in silence. Look in bushes - bring a flashlight and look for shining eyes. Best time to find your cat is in the early morning hours when the noise level is low and they feel safe. Leave an access point open for the cat to return. This is important if they do come back in the middle of the night. Prayers your cat returns/ or is found safely. Beware of scammers.

Darling cat. Post him on Greenhill lost and found web site and Next Door site. Check Community Cat Coalition web site how to find missing indoor cat. Quality time with you and wand toys alleviates boredom and gets him exercised (running, jumping, chasing "prey"). Cat tree by window is good to watch world go by. Or basic catio for fresh air. Best wishes. Keep us posted.
