Sol Torres Thanks so much. My husband was out until past midnight last night walking around with a can of food calling her name but no luck. A neighbor spotted her around 9:30/10 last night but she darted away before she could grab her. It looks like she is still close by.

When they are indoors only they get terrified to come out. Most be hiding not too far.🙁Try going out at night with some can of treats and calling her name. She looks so much like my Khloe🥹Hope she returns safe home soon 🙏🏻

Tina Magnuson Thanks so much for all your suggestions. A lot of people have suggested that about leaving out food and water and the litter trick. The problem is we live in an apartment building and not a house, so we don't know where we could put any of that and how we could make that work. There are also a few strays around that we are afraid might get to the food and water before she does. We blanketed the whole neighborhood with flyers. I posted to multiple local social media pages and someone shared it to Nextdoor for me and I'm using Pawboost. We have a relative who works for the city and reached out to Jersey City Animal Shelter for us in case anyone goes there. We are trying to stay hopeful. We will be out searching again today and are getting a lot of support from our neighbors who are also on the lookout.

First put out a big bowl of water. Then, did you try the kitty litter trick? Take some litter from their box and sprinkle outside leading to your door then call them constantly especially at dawn and dusk and when it's quiet. Kitty will follow its scent and your voice home. It's no doubt scared and hiding. You can also try a stinky can of sardines! Or if kitty is a cuddler, try putting an article of your clothing by your door. Also check area garages, under car hoods, shelters, Nextdoor and Pawboost for found kitties in and near your zip. Don’t give up. And post flyers around your neighborhood. Good luck! And please keep your kitty inside if you let it out!! Between coyotes, diseases, bad actors and cars, there are so many ways harm can come to them. Finally, if your kitty isn’t fixed, please spay/neuter!
