Details: Our dog got away from our pet sitter on Sunday afternoon (7/27), in unincorporated Standwood, WA. Specifically 24124 Marine Dr, and she ran to a private property on Florence Rd, last seen hiding in the thicket/brush at the back of the property. Her name is Pinecone/Piney, and she's about 7 pounds, 7 years old, black/brown brindle coat with white on her face and chest. Huge ears! Probably chihuahua/rat terrier mix. She's timid, especially if men and loud children. She may bite in defense of herself. Pictures below. We've been searching and monitoring live traps since Sunday. We live north of Bellingham and are driving back and forth. Please contact us if anything is reported about her!

Update from owner: "Thanks for sharing! Here's some more info: PLEASE SHARE UPDATE: Piney was last seen in the thicket behind 24505 Florence Rd. The homeowners of that big new build have been very kind and tolerant of Piney-seekers! We're going to work with Snohomish County Animal Control to set a trap - we're hopeful she's still there, or nearby, hiding. Piney/Pinecone went missing near Stanwood, WA on 7/27/25. Please contact me with any sightings - do not chase her! She's sweet but frightened. 206-910-5051 or 360-920-8059"
