If you adopted from a local rescue they may have traps you can borrow. Most rescues will help you find your lost baby.

Try putting some of your unwashed laundry by the garage door and leave the door slightly open so that CJ can come back in. You can also maybe rent a trap from the local shelter and put tuna in it as it attacks the cats more with the smell. Cover the trap with a blanket with just the opening side uncovered so they can go in. Leave one trap in your backyard and one in the front yard under any bushes you may have.
