Dogs usually return to lost from location with 24-48 hours . Get out their favorite humans dirty clothes outside asap along with hot smelly human food (chicken or sausage) in view of a security/trail camera. Boil chicken broth, BBQ sauce and chili seasoning pour on trees and in your yard. Owner if you see your dog immediately sit on the ground no eye contact softly talk wait until it catches your scent Be patient. There are alot of scammers out there so if someone says they have your dog tell them to meet you at the police station. DO NOT PAY ANY MONEY INLESS YOU HAVE YOUR DOG

Please put worn clothing and dirty sheets outside with your scent on it and your dogs bedding/blankets with their scent on it so they can smell/find their way home. I’ve heard dogs can smell up to a couple of miles. If you have a gate, leave cracked so they can get in. Please post on For the Love of Louie, next door app, Pawboost and ring app. Please contact animal control and local shelters.
