Post some ads up around the area rewards always helps go out walking in the neighborhood knocking on doors ask your local neighbors to check their garages sheds under decks under vehicles behind bushes go out walking the neighborhood several times during the day and several times late at night they hide during the day and they move around at night when it’s very quiet outside they are usually found within than 7 to 10 houses from home they usually come home between the hours of 12 AM and 7 AM when it’s very quiet outside keep your eyes and ears open prayers keep a garage door open or a window open. Sometimes I come back home and try to get back into the house prayers check with local veterinarians check with local animal, shelter, and Humane Society daily you must let them know you lost your car just in case somebody finds it poor baby. Prayers post some ads on local Lost and Found pet sites. You can Google these in your area. There should be at least three or four prayers. You can also try putting your cats bed, blanket toys, and some of your dirty clothing from inside the house. Do not wash these items such as T-shirts, sweaters, blankets sheets, put these items out on your porch. keep your eyes open animals have a great sense of smell change outside items daily if it rains otherwise every couple of days this works great for cats and dogs. This work for me and my cats several times over the years prayers

Time is of the essence. Cats don’t go far from home. Don’t wait for social media to bring your cat home, you need to be proactive. Leave the door/window the kitty exited from open 24/7. If unable, then crack garage door open 24/7 enough to get in. Knock on neighbors doors with a picture asking them to keep an eye out. See if they can check Ring cameras for any sighting. Post signs with kitty’s picture as many as possible, include surrounding neighborhoods. Go out late at night with a flashlight, shaking a bag of food, calling kitty’s name, looking under shrubs for their shining eyes. Post on Ring, Nextdoor and check shelters. Don’t give up. 💕

You can purchase a trap from Tractor Supply or Home Depot or Amazon or see if you can borrow or rent one from a local rescue or TNR group. Put a piece of your clothing with your scent on it inside and some wet food and set the trap and cover it with a towel (they feel more secure hidden) and monitor it.🙏❣️ remember kitties are naturally nocturnal, so they will hide during the day and move at night time looking for a food source or trying to get home. This is when most of us are sleeping. That's why the trap is ideal. Monitor the trap. If you catch a critter go ahead and release it and wash the trap and reset. They leave a smell behind which may deter your baby from going in. If you catch another kitty, you can always take it to a local vet or shelter for a free chip check and you might be able to help return someone else's missing baby home.♥️ also get a big sign in the front yard so in case someone does have or sees this baby and does not see this post, they can contact the owner that way. Also get lots of signs posted in the neighborhood. Keep checking on your local county FB group pages. You can search the group by "cat" to see all the cat posts only💗
