Looks to be a border collie mix with black and white coloring (larger white patches on sides)

Message from Finder

This dog has been wandering in the Ashley Oaks neighborhood for about two weeks now (first sighting roughly 2/23). It has a leash and collar on. I’m not certain of the darker coloring (whether it’s black or brown) because I’ve only seen it at night on my security cameras. We have been unable to catch it as it is very, very skittish and runs away if you try to get near it. Several of us have been feeding and watering it in the meantime.

Thank you for being the baby’s Hero and feeding it , Bless you , Call YoungWilliamsAnimal Control , they have ways of catching skiddish dogs , it really needs to be caught for its safety, there are Horrible Evil people out there, looking for free Bait and Cult dogs , it’s a Horrible Death 😢They even send Teenagers and Wives to claim 😢Please call 🙏❤️

If able, try posting on the local Nextdoor app (if possible), lost .petcolove .org and watching craigslist. If you post to other groups, be sure to add the county, city and state to your posting since the posting may be shared nationally. Also, take flyers to shelters and vet offices with a photo and report the pet found. They have a board for both lost and found pets. Remember, not everyone is on Social Media. (IF able, try taking to a vet to check for a microchip too. Ask for proof of ownership by either vet records or a picture from the phone.) Perhaps try renting or borrowing a humane trap from the local shelter or a rescue.
