Unfortunately cats get away as soon as they can. They are animals that love freedom ..cannot be happy in apartments. I have had at least 20 cats over the years. All free and happy. Some because of car accidents but most live to a happy life for many years. Keeping cats confined is cruel.

If this is an indoor only cat that never goes out, look close. Indoor only cats when lost get scared and hide because it is unknown territory and usually do not come out when you call. Usually are within 3 or 4 houses . Put out something with your scent such as a piece of clothing or blanket. Call at dusk, dawn and night and shake the treats. Get in your neighbour's yards and look under decks, sheds, in trees, bushes or anywhere they can hide. Put up lots of posters. Thank you so much! I have printed fliers, posted and contacted the humane society. He has an airtag which pings him not to far now.. it took awhile to update. Maybe someone took him in and now they're at work? otherwise perhaps the airtag fell off..

My comment was removed because I mentioned a website where you can review tips for finding cats. Maybe you already know to post notices asking neighbours to check their sheds & garages. As well to search for your dear boy when it is quiet. I really hope you find him <3

Thanks so much for your oh so very helpful comment, Irene ! I love my cat more than anything else and I wasn't at home, I suspect he snuck past the door while my roommates went to work. I treat my Constance better than I treat myself, he's spoiled, smart and socialized. Things happen, I'm distraught and I find your comment less than useful. I've fostered 45 animals before him, he goes almost everywhere that I do.
