Message from Owner

I’ve had my cat for 10 years he’s not just a pet, he’s part of my family, part of my everyday life. I’m currently at NC State, and I left him with my parents while I finished the semester. I was literally about a week away from coming for summer break when he went missing. He’s never been gone this long before, and that’s what’s scaring me the most. I keep thinking about all the times he’s come back, and how this time feels different. I can’t stop worrying about where he is, if he’s safe, if he’s scared, or if he’s trying to find his way . I feel so guilty for not being there. I just wish I had been sooner I would give anything to see him again. I also have two other cats who clearly miss him, and it’s heartbreaking to see that something is missing for them too. If anyone has any advice, or has gone through something similar, I would really appreciate hearing from you. And if you’re in the area, please keep an eye out. I’m genuinely so stressed and just want him back where he belongs

Sammy Gonzalez this is my indoor cat recovery protocol. But it's indoor only. Outside cats can have a large territory. But they can also be displaced in a different territory. I would try these methods and I'd get an item with his fur and put in the freezer or cool place in case you want a track. I refer my tracks to BravoK911 Need to be done within about 14 days.

Look at night with a flashlight while calling his name. Look especially under bushes and in neighbors yards garages and sheds. Look up in trees, Leave something outside with his scent on it like his bedding. Leave something outside with your scent on it like an unwashed piece of clothing. Leave out smelly cat food. Hang signs with his photo. Call and visit local shelters and veterinary offices. Good luck!🍀

This is the owner I messed up on nearest landmark and added the wrong street closest to me. I live in alameda st Durham nc. He must’ve not gotten far! He is an inside outside cat of 10 years. We fear he might just be lost around here or hurt around the woods or someone’s home. Please keep eye out!!
