‼️ LOOSE DOG SIGHTING ‼️ 🔶 GOLDEN RETRIEVER 🔶 This golden retriever was first spotted loose on approximately 4/20/26 with a female golden retriever in the Weems Road/Easterwood Drive area. The female was captured and is safe, but it is not microchipped and an owner has not yet been identified. This golden retriever is still loose. It was last seen in the area of Capital Circle NE and Industrial Plaza Drive on 5/1/26. It is believed to be a male, but not positive. City of Tallahassee Animal Control is fully aware of his plight and is working to get him safe. Contact info will be in the first comment. If you see this dog, please do not follow it, call out to it, whistle at it etc. It is scared and in survival mode and will not let you get close. Any attempts to engage will likely cause him to keep moving. He is crossing very busy/dangerous roads when he is pursued and not ignored. Please do not post any current sightings in the comments .
