Please ask for proof of ownership when someone claims. Vet records. Pictures. A lot of dog flippers will lie.

If in ABQ, call 311 and report that you have the pup/cat to let them know the furkid is in your possession, or call Bernalillo County (505) 468-7387. You can always ask the above shelters to come pick up the animal.
