I'm confused by the kitten and getting out of the car statement. Did she have kittens in a car or are her kittens alone somewhere because mama hitched a ride in a car and escaped? As long as the kittens seem okay, Mama might be somewhere hunting but going back to feed the kittens. If not, see if you can find a no- animal rescue that can bottle feed the kittens I'll share some search tips that may or may not help but I hope she is found soon.Search at night with a flashlight (eyes will glow) up in trees and inside and under things on your property and up to three or four houses away. Cats normally stay pretty close to home. You can put something with the smell of the cat, or the scent of home, out on the porch. Put up missing cat posters, check with your neighbors, post on all local social media groups, and check with animal control every week. Leave your garage door up enough to allow the cat entry. You can also try searching early morning, before dawn, calling his/her name and carrying and open can of tuna or cat food. Hunger sometimes lures them out of hiding. Don't forget to check places like crawl spaces, garages, and sheds.
