Message from Owner

This is Buddy my roommate let him outside Friday night and he has not returned, his chip is defective so it won’t show up at the vet but please let me know if you see him/ took him in! He is super friendly and follows people around, we had an AirTag on him but it fell off his collar last week.

Michele Trofe Saucier Look I don’t want to argue. Anyone who knows me knows I have been a lifetime animal advocate. Nowhere in the post did it say let out “accidentally”. I’m just stating facts! I am not being mean! I got the impression it was an indoor/outdoor cat, so I misunderstood!

Bea Falcone Liberato if you read the post- her ROOMATE let him out accidentally. What’s wrong with you? She’s worried enough as it is- no need to act as though she intentionally let him out or isn’t aware of the dangers outside- that’s why she’s asking for help in finding him! Geesh. So insensitive.

Lynn McCorkle Converse Not to worry, I’m not simmering at all my cat is safely inside! Just stating facts. Not sure if it’s your cat, if it is I meant no disrespect, I feel sorry for the cat! Again, if you get him back he will be safer inside?

Rent or borrow a humane trap. The SPCA should be able to help. Place the trap near where the cat escaped. Put some of the cat's favorite food and treats inside of the trap along with an article of your clothing with your scent on it. This method has worked for me on two different occasions. Don't hang around outside by the trap because the cat will not show up if you do that. If the cat isn't coming when you call them, they won't approach the trap if you're near it. If you trap the wrong cat or some other animal, put a blanket over the trap leaving the door exposed. Stand behind the trap and release the animal. Reset the trap. Time is of the essence so do this asap. Good luck and God bless.
