General Information: Indoor cats are usually close to home. Check any and all hiding places in your home - closets, under side of mattress. Hang clothes with your scent on it (Worn clothing from owner) high up outside so the familiar scent can travel and guide the cat back home. Ask your neighbors to check their yard/could be accidently stuck in their garage or shed. (If applicable) Check doorbell or home camera - or ask neighbors to check their camera. Post Fliers with a picture of the cat and your contact information in the area the cat went missing. Not everyone is on Social Media and posters have worked in that if spotted a location can be provided. If a cat is scared they make themselves safe by finding a good hiding spot and often times hide in silence. Look in bushes - bring a flashlight and look for shining eyes. Best time to find your cat is in the early morning hours when the noise level is low and they feel safe. Leave an access point open for the cat to return. This is important if they do come back in the middle of the night. Prayers your cat returns/ or is found safely. Beware of scammersRead More
I'm so very sorry... Chai is a very handsome boy... I've been missing my boy Rev since June 11th. Please don't give up hope! It's good that you've already put the information out there on Pawboost. I'm sure you've gotten lots of tips and have taken a lot of steps in trying to be reunited with him. Here are some of the things that I did that I felt got a good response. I put up big bright neon colored poster boards with the fliers attached at intersections. The bright colored poster board hopefully caught people's attention and the flyer got more attention that way. I also walked the neighborhoods in the morning and evening when people were walking their dogs and handed out flyers and spoke to neighbors. While Rev still hasn't returned home, I received over 75 phone calls from people who thought they had a potential sighting. This gave me a lot of comfort that it wasn't just me keeping an eye out for him. I also contacted the vets, the animal shelters and checked their websites daily. I know what you're going through and I hope and pray you're reunited with your baby soon 🙏 www.petcolovelost.org is a very helpful website.Read More
