This dog is at New Hanover County Animal Shelter. He is waiting for his people to come get him. My neighbors and I tried for an hour on Sunday to lure him to us. He got close but wouldn’t let us touch him. Lost track of him when he crossed 17th street and explored the hospital campus. He was picked up by the police/animal officer and taken to the shelter. I was notified by the officer. I went to ask about him today (Monday). Nobody can see him except his owners. I was told he is on a hold and if not claimed he will be assessed, hopefully for adoption.
