Never put the litter box outside

At night, put on a powerful headlamp, even a medium headlamp or flashlight. Look around and his eyes will glow like the sun at 100 yards. Easiest to find cats at night. Bring treats! I found my cat this way, he is a black kitty too.

Put your clothes outside as a scent. Have neighbors check cellars sheds garages and vehicles. They get trapped. Look under porches and sheds etc. Have a Heart trap with tuna. Cover trap with blanket and watch trap. Look at night often with flashlight. Check attics drawers and in trees 🌲. Culverts. Flyers everywhere. Check town authorities and vets. Look at lost and found pet sites shelters in case brought in. Craigslist too. Get kids you know to help look. Check behind walls and insulation. Abandoned buildings. Leave the door open for cat or window.
