I see these kinds of parrots all the time in Hacienda Heights and by the Sizzler across from the West Covina Mall.. They like to get loud

I lost my macaw so I put his cage outside. He flew down to it and went right in!

Manuel Castillo Get out and keep looking for those birds! I have had a Green Check Conure get out and spend the night outside and I have had my Sun Conure missing for two days and I know of two people that have had birds get out and then recovered far from home. One of those two people had their bird get out from Glendale and it was located in Korea Town, the other had their bird get out in Alhambra and it was recovered in the San Fernando Valley. The one that was recovered in Korea Town actually landed on someone in Glendale and they lived in Korea Town. If your birds are not used to flying then their wings will be weak and they will be scared and they will not fly far and they will either come down to a person or they will go into a tree not far away and they will be quiet. You have to get out and walk and call for them! Forget about what people think... ...when one of my birds gets out, I don't give a 💩about what anyone thinks of me... ...it's all about finding my bird. Talk to people while walking, they may know something. If you regularly handle your birds they will WANT to come home! Call for them... ...you have to get out before the Sun comes up and start looking and calling! The ambient noise is less at this time and you have a better chance of them hearing you... ...and you have a better chance of hearing their return calls! Never give up! The first few days of the search are very important because they will still be relatively close if nobody has grabbed them. Get fliers made and offer a reward, make the reward one that makes a person want to give the bird up. When my Sun Conure got out I gave the person who had found her $500.00! Again keep your eyes open, get out in the morning. My Green Cheek Conure was found on top of a parked car trying to drink the morning dew off of the window!!! Best of luck, I hope that you find them! Oh, I see one is a Nanday! I have a Nanday too... ...he will be 27 years old this May... ...again I hope you find them! Do not be embarrassed to call for them... ...don't care about what other people think, I cry like a fool when looking for my flying kids,no don't care!

Posted on Lost and Found birds of the US. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/18b9dU67WX/?mibextid=wwXIfr We are so sorry to hear your birds are both missing. Here are some ideas to assist in your search. *Create a post on Pawboost, NextDoor & Ring, if you haven’t already. *During the daytime: use a wireless Bluetooth speaker to broadcast flock calls or your voice, shake treat bags or anything that might attract attention to food, put the cage out where it can be seen. *During the evening when searching is over, design & print off flyers with photo & contact information. These can be encased in a ziplock to keep weatherproof & posted in areas where allowed like parks, poles & any nearby gathering areas. Also drop off some at vet clinics, pet supply stores, anything within a 5 mile radius. Contact local shelters/rescues & even the police dept - they do pick up found/stray pets all the time. Make sure the world knows - neighbors esp ones that have bird feeders/baths/pools. Hand them out while searching the area. Join every local social media group there is. Run an ad in your local newspaper - some run one for free in lost & found (or cheap). Also check with local bird watcher groups - they’re always out & about. Flyers cannot be placed in mailboxes. *PLEASE CHECK WITH LOCAL ANIMAL SHELTERS & FILE A MISSING PET REPORT*
