The answer: Oh, he’s Loving life, he’s got access to a 2 acres of fields, a loving family, etc. they’re sending pictures, blah, blah, blah, it’s all a terrible lie. The collar dash is wearing is hers, she spitefully cut off another white rubber flea collar we put on him two days ago. So, for that reason I stopped communicating with this person, then a ponytail guy from rescue place comes, presumably to take dash either to re-home him(why on earth she thought was was necessary, god only knows, I mean truly). I’m no longer speaking to this woman who lives downstairs, in fact I have firm intentions of reporting her for being a irresponsible dog and cat owner, because you see, the buck must stop somewhere, and she continues to harbour resentment towards me for disagreeing with her and telling what she she actually is(I will not assault he4 character her, nor name and shame her, I could but I won’t) This is a lesson that should be learnt her, what to avoid when meeting people, calling out biases In people who think they know everything, please people, it’s bloddy dangerous. So, an hour ago a housemate who showed me the post about dash, and guess what…it’s as if nothing happened, she’s playing with the kittens and their mum with dogs in back garden right now as I type this, fascinating isn’t it, so now poor dash who has no idea why he’s taken away from his mum, and siblings, that is of course if this woman was telling the truth, which she doesn’t normally, but this post suggest otherwise. Why the lie? Was dash deliberately ignored when she saw him on wall, or given to someone to take of him? Here’s the kicker? This ridiculously dysfunctional system actually worked since last week, i told her if dash jumps over the back wall(that could be prevented if she just kept her window closed , they have ample space to play indoors, i told her this woman that dash can come in from the kitchen window, then upstairs if he does get out, whilst in he4 care and that of his mum, who seems terrified of this person downstairs, even the two remaining kittens, very different to Dash(I’m not getting g into how and why here), I told her He’l always be welcomed upstairs, but if he’s he’s constantly wanting to be downstairs, then he has to be stay Downstairs until he’s older and smarter where he can go downstairs from outside under careful conditions due to his age, but of course, I don’t know why this woman’s windows are open when she knows the risk of him dashing out to see me or the other housemate(who gives him his kitten food, that he usually scoffs down, spends time with me, in the morning he’s given back to her, otherwise he’ll get out run under cars or nearby bushes unaware of dangerous people and busy roads nearby. Then a few days ago, a rescue guy comes by, either to take him to be rescued(still don’t understand why), since we’re not talking, it’s generally done out of spite these things and this is the result of that thinking, either dash is with the rescue guy who came here, that the take she weaved for us(taken away an given to a loving couple who has two acres of land for him to run around in, the photos should prove how happy he us, but…I didn’t believe that, I still don’t. So to the woman who will no doubt read this, I’m calling you out in front of everyone here, it’s a naming(not quite) and a shaming. Because I don’t care about the opinion about me, nor anyone’s on here, Because it absolutely sickens me how irresponsible people can. Oftentimes deliberately so. You know who you are, let everyone hear you version, and they guy who came to rescue the seagull she also thought she could keep and feed and contain, I mean really…? So, I already had this outcome sadly predicted because I understand the outcomes of terrible thinking and confirmation bias baked with a dash of dunning Kruger. So, my intention is to report this person to the RSPCA, PDSA, and Battersea Dogs & Cats home, and whatever animal welfare organisation I can reach out to, I want to get them to weigh in on this epic failure that could’ve so easily been avoided. No doubt this will blow her hair back, Will there be guilt. Probably not. These people cannot and will not take any personal responsibility because you see they don’t think they’ve done anything wrong. So here we are, either he’s found and brought back to this woman(please don’t, this person SHOULD NOT OWN PETS, let alone poor dash, So while I am really sad to hear of this, I’m hardly surprised. This is what happens when people think they know everything(actually everything), it’s sensational and these sort of people live in their grand delusion, people usually just agree with them, because it’s easier, and we know how that turns usually turns out. My hope is that if found, to please avoid giving him back to this person, please DM me privately and I will happily help, because writing this is as painful as it is frustrating, since I’m not much on FB these days, I rarely engage in pointless rhetoric online in FB, on this occasion, whilst we are still out looking for another cat, I am happy to have a conversation about how this can be resolved differently without the need to involve the person who posted this. So to conclude, I have no idea why Dash was left to dwell around freely during night to morning(I only picked him up when I was outside in the front on chair enjoying the warm evening), I cannot stay there through the night, so o I have no idea where he is when I asleep. And Dash was always welcome, as m6 door was always open I. Case he got out, and back inside when her door is closed, but I cannot police him 24/7, even with the other string of cats from neighbourhood who fight with earth other, foxes, and people who hurt animals(I’ve seen it months back, some idiot ego kicked a cat and wanted a barrel of laughs from friends who thought it was hilarious, I ran after the idiots, but they were faster. I wanted to know why, same here. Why? Dash probably doesn’t understand why he was given away(if that version of her story is true). Whilst downstairs growing up, playing, climbing, learning to hunt, survive if lost, because why on earth would someone think that was in any way normal? This post whilst written after the fact, Is intended to make this OP feel something, maybe question beliefs, introspection perhaps? But I don’t hold out hope, I do hope he’s found, pleas again, contact me via DM and if you’re a good owner, take car of him, or return him to me and I will come fetch him, but 4 days has gone and even though that narrative of 2acres of land to p,su on with living couple seemed almost true, I wish it was, but, it’s not, so here we are. What is the truth, you sir who came by, why did you come by? Did you take him? Is he actually missing, WHY? Please, in this already terrible state the world is is, please think critically, it’s more important now even, critically important. Because the outcomes of bad thinking often has a high price. Thanks for your attention and reading for this. It’s written carefully and thoughtfully, even considerably. I could name this person her publicly, but I won’t. But I’m happy to speak to these organisations about what I have and continue to witness. This may seem like a “bit much” but please read properly, there’s a clear subtext here, nothing is said for effect or overstated, be careful of replies where denial is the only reply, that should give you the reader some indication of what we deal with. Be careful what you read here… Let me give some context, so that people with actual rational sensemaking abilities and a clear understanding of reason, i’d like to appeal to you, the reader, to read and understand what follows here. So that you can make up you own mind as to how this ended up here. It’s intended for people to use their critical thinking skills to carefully evaluate this tragic and avoidable situation with poor Dash. Please gain some insight as to what likely happened here, and why, why stupidity, irresponsibility, lies and spitefulness and terrible decision making, when combined ultimately leads to disastrous outcomes, it’s actually quite fascinating but equally frightening. But Here’s a short timeline. Dash ‘was’ my cat, I inherited him from a woman I share I place with, this particular woman who has a strong FB presence and I’m particularly here, so you can see how awkward(not for me) this might be when she reads this, but this has to be read to truly understand what has happened here and why the res5 of the kittens too will likely be at risk. This is not a character assassination on thus person, because it’s factual and can be backed up by evidence. So, on may 07 or 8th of may the woman who I won’t name here, her cat probably aged 9-10 months old gave birth to 4 kittens, those kittens were with mum for about 4 weeks, probably more like 3, I want to accurate here with gown events transpired. So keep up… Then two are taken away, dash, whom I named as he has a small dash of white under his lower jaw and he’s fast, so dash! The other one was Oreo, she’s my daughters cat(thays a whole other take of bea4 trade by and related as well, but a tale for another day). So two kittens she keeps with the mum, the others as tiny as are, eyes barely open, they’re given to my daughter and I. My daughter stays elsewhere with my ex partner who agreed for our daughter to have Oreo(dash’s sister). So, they’re cut off from their mum’s important nutritional milk, with that goodness, the taurine, the amino acids for rapid growth, because the owner claimed they don’t need milk, she’s finished feeding(the other two kittens of course get milk, they’re given some kitten food, but mostly tasty adult cat food because the owner’s confirmation bias of what she thinks kittens need, not kitten food, adult cat food, and other questionable food not fit for kittens aged 4-6 weeks. I live upstairs, the kittens now have access to a very large garden, the obvious risks are lost on the irresponsible owner who lets them roam around freeway while dash has to stay indoors watch from top window, regardless of how dangerous it all is, and chaos is slowly creeping up. Eventually I manage to let dash get some playtime with his siblings and some milk, because you see he. Doesn’t have free roaming into her room downstairs, only the other two kittens, dash sleeps upstairs with me on the window ledge watching his siblings feed off mum, right up until they’re about 2-3 months old, Dash, when he gets his few hours playtime, becomes too much for this person who gives him back when she needs “rest or to eat”, nonetheless, I take him, he’s happy with me and we are close, he loves me and I love him, but he’s a mommy boy, and the owner then suggests dash can stay over(this concerns me, but she insists) and twice I agreed and told her my ongoing concerns, because dash can climb walls, he climbs those walls to get to me when I’m in the front at 6-7 pm having chat with someone, so now there’s an issue with containing him so he doesn’t run off, he cannot understand why he’s taken away from mum, p,anytime is over little dash, back to dad, and since dash roams the house freely with windows closed(this has to be done because he could get out, this hot weather doesn’t make things easier for him, so he sleeps on bathroom tiled floor with access to my room as he greets me for his food at 4,5 or 6. Dash was nothing like his siblings who only have access to the back garden, he goes for walks with me and a friend who’s cat has mysteriously vanished from the same premises where dash once lived. So fast forward to last Saturday early morning, dash is in bathroom, it’s hot. the tiles are cool, fans on, window closed, my room door opened. I wake later to discover dash is gone, he’s never gone, because I close windows because he might get out wanting to go to mum in back garden where the other siblings ate roaming. Then, I go to bathroom and someone has opened the bathroom window, everyone in the house knows basic reasoning and logic suggests, I’d dash in bathroom, and window closed, leave it closed or partially opened so he cannot get out onto roof or worse…knowing all that, someone still opens the window, and yes, he got out onto the roof, at 4-5am, I risked my life trying to get him off, he was so scared and I was so tired, mostly Because that could’ve been avoided, so he wouldn’t come to me, and I couldn’t get him, 999 wouldn’t send trick out either. He eventually came down to the person who thinks they know and understand everything about cats. So, that morning I to,d her, he cannot stay with me anymore, he needs structure and he 2ants to be with his siblings, (naturally the response was” oh, He’l be fine, everything is fine, god, this level of thinking makes me sick!) Eventually, she agrees to keep him, has grand plans to chip him, snip him and He’l be this, do this, etc. absolutely no idea! Then dash starts escaping to be with me and jumps the back walls, I find him, he stays with me overnight, then given back to the woman “who knows everything” no doubt, he still got fed adult cat food, why, only god knows, common sense(very uncommon these days), suggests, if kitten, then kitten food, but if you think you know everything, then sadly, you are heading to a disaster. 4 days ago, someone from a animal rescue place comes to visit her.
