URGENT UPDATE: STOLEN SERVICE DOG IN TRAINING WRONGFULLY ADOPTED OUTOur 2-year-old, 26lb Terrier Mix, Bailey, was stolen and fraudulently surrendered to the Valencia County Animal Shelter on July 2nd under Shelter ID 61301402.The shelter mistakenly processed her and has already adopted her out to an unknown family in the local area. A criminal police report for Grand Larceny and violation of the NM Service Animal Act is open with the Valencia County DS’s Office.If you or someone you know recently adopted a 2-year-old Terrier mix matching Bailey's description from the Los Lunas/Valencia shelter this week, please contact us or the DS's Office immediately.
