Marie Michell Thank you for the suggestions I have been doing the things you mentioned. I have a shed with a cat door that she can go in with a bed with my clothing. Food is left out. Called the local vet which is a no kill shelter and they have not had anyone turn her in. The only thing I want for Christmas if for her to come home.

I Cats do not go far from their home - usually five house radius. He is probably terrified and hiding under a bush, shed or under a house. Go out frequently esp at night with a flashlight and search. Keep looking at same places calling softly. Alert neighbors, mailmen, dogwalkers. Borrow or rent a humane trap and cover with a piece of your clothing. Put in smelly food such as tuna or sardines. Check frequently. Don’t give up. It may take some time. Good luck. Beautiful kitty
