This cat was found curled up under the stairs in my apmt building hallway. She seems terrified. Will not react to treats even when left out for her for 15 minutes. Does not react when approached.

Wendy Holder are you retarded? Where did I say she wouldn't let me touch her? I said she had no reaction to touching her. I took off her collar to see if it had a tag. She was not moving and did not move. Me leaving her collar next to her confirmed that someone took her cuz she and the collar were gone. I didn't bring her inside cuz I live in a small.studio with another cat already. And then she would have never been found if I moved her. Any more questions nosy ?

Poor thing is terrified! What the happened to her that she's so scared? Maybe injured or someone did something terrible to her or was always a house cat and somebody decided they didn't want her anymore so they just abandoned her. Either way, it's sad 😔

So she wouldn’t let you touch her but you touched her enough to take her collar off which is something her owners Will be looking for? Why would you remove the collar? Why didn’t you bring her inside if she’s terrified?

Update: I took her collar off last night looking for a tag and laid it down next to her. After getting back home from golf this afternoon she and the collar are no longer there. Assuming this means her owner found her and brought her home. Thanks all.
