Do nighttime searches for your cat, go outside tonight with a flashlight and a bag of cat treats, with light, look under vehicles,in their wheel wells, under porches and decks, under, behind stairs, under,in between and behind buildings, in bushes, up trees, on rooftops, on windowsills, on upper level decks, on fire escapes, near garbage bins, use the light to expose the eye shine, or reflective glow of the cat's eyes, Calmly call the cat's name, then shake the treat bag, do these actions throughout the block, then neighborhood where the cat is lost every night after sunset then again late night to right before dawn 11 pm-4 am. Ask neighbors to check their garages, sheds, and bats, sometimes they get trapped in them, get their permission to look under their porches and decks,in their yards, under and behind their sheds,in crawl spaces, under and behind yard furniture. Ask neighbors to look on their surveillance, security,or doorbell camera's video for your cat,ask your apartment manager to do this too. Thoroughly search your property for your cat, look under the building, on fire escapes, on windowsills,go up to the rooftop of the apartment building, look in vents,in crawl spaces, near hidden areas, use the flashlight to help you see the eye shine or reflective glow of the cat's eyes. File a Lost report with SFACC and check the shelter a couple of times a week. Put up flyers in the neighborhood where the cat is lost,on street posts,on porches and doorways, on apartment doors,in local markets, businesses, veterinary clinics and pet stores

- Check the house thoroughly as they sometimes hide in the house in unexpected places. -Check underneath your cars, in the car engine area, wheel wells and around the bumpers. -Ask neighbors around you to check garages and sheds as they can sneak in undetected. -See if your neighbors can leave their garages and sheds open for a few hours. Your cat may not come out right away once the doors are open. This is because when cats are in survival mode, they don't always act normal. Your cat may be scared to come out when others are around. - Put a piece of your unwashed clothing outside the last door he/she exited the house from and leave that door open at night so that they can get back inside. - you may want to leave some wet food just inside of the door that they exited as well. Kibble tends to attract raccoons so it's not recommended. - Hang flyers with his/her picture and post all over your neighborhood & surrounding areas. - Take the flyers door to door asking if anyone has seen him/her. - Make mini flyers and attach them on neighbor's doors with painters tape so that it doesn't ruin the paint. -Walk your neighborhood especially at night calmly calling his/her name and listening as he/she may be hiding in the bushes or under something. - Take a flyer to the shelter. - Put a sign in your yard with his/her picture stating he/she is missing. - Check the shelters in person. - Review shelter's found reports. - File a lost report with the shelters. Between 10pm-5AM are ideal times to find a missing indoor only cat. You can set your alarm for 12 AM, 3 AM, 5 AM etc. praying for your cat's safe and swift return. 💕🙏💕

The best thing to do is to talk to your neighbors during the day to see if they have seen your cat. You can also print mini flyers and attach them to your neighbors doors if they are not home. You can use painter's tape so that it is easy for the homeowner to remove. Or, you can put the flyers in your neighbor's mailbox You will have the best chance to find your cat tonight from 10 pm onward. Use a flashlight and calmly call your cat. Best wishes! 🙏

Put up Lost flyers in the neighborhood where the cat is lost. Since you posted your cat on Pawboost,it should have offered you a free flyer template for download,so you can make copies and put them up on street posts, on porches,in doorways,on people's apartment doors,in local businesses

If you live next to apartment buildings, businesses, store, ask them to check their bats, courtyards, backlots, and their security camera's video for your cat. Look in their service alleys

Ask neighbors if she may be trapped in their garage or shed, and check on other nearby streets, especially in the evening with a flashlight, calling out to her and making a familiar sound. I hope she is found soon🙏🏻

My personal experience has been first securing other cats in another closed-off room, dimming/turning off most or all inside/outside lights and — if safe to do so and should be supervised — leaving doors (especially door/window escaped through) open/ajar in the very early morning (basically, need to camp out in room where door is ajar). (Cats have a keen wide-ranging/radius sense of smell; therefore, it is so important to get their familiar “home” scents into the airwaves.) Every time, my little escape artist has come bolting through the door between 3:00 — 5:00 AM. (NOTE: When he’s escaped and door is closed, he panics and takes off again — it is important they have a way in once they come out of hiding and make a mad dash for home.) Hopefully, if not used to being outdoors, XENA is very close by just scared to come out until it’s really dark and really quiet. Prayers for a quick safe return !!🙏🏻
