I’ve had her since she was 3 months old and she is 2 years old now. She was my first cat and I just want her home safe. Her brother misses her and I miss her too. She is microchipped and i put out a lost alert on it for her.

Please file a missing cat report with the Norfolk animal care center. If the cat is chipped, make sure the registry has your current contact information. Visit the shelter several times a week. Tonight after 10 PM, go out a new yard with a bag of kitty treats and a flashlight, walk around your yard, calling your cat’s name and shaking the kitty treats bag. Use the flashlight to look in the bushes to see if you see your cat hiding. Indoor cats rarely stray more than 5 to 7 homes from their own. Bread, flowers with your cats picture and your contact information and take around to your neighbors, asking them to call you if they see your cat. Also ask them if they’ve been in their shed outbuilding or garage since the cat went missing. Cats will go into one of those structures and the door gets closed and they cannot get out. You cannot hear cat crying to get out of a structure unless you’re standing right next to it.
