Kim White with all due respect, you should ask before you make assumptions. You know what they say about assuming. These animals have been running around the area for over a month, I personally have witnessed them escape cars hitting them on multiple occasions. Seeing as they come from an area that is heavily trafficked with strays, they were likely dumped. You see me making efforts to get them placed and I myself own several animals I rescued from the shelter. My dogs wouldn’t be in this situation, because mine are chipped, collared, vetted, and responsibly cared for. Once you have reached out to over 15 rescue societies like I have, your comment can have validity. However, your comment serves no purpose, therefore, think before you assume. Shame on you for shaming someone who is attempting to help these dogs.

I can't understand why people instantly take animals like these to the animal shelter. They will now likely never go home. These dogs are obviously well cared for. They are friendly & well cared for. They were probably let outside to go potty or they escaped a fenced yard. Not all wandering animals are lost. Now there is probably a family looking for thier dogs, who might not have paw boost to see the post. Think before you take! What if yhese were your animals that got out of a fenced yard while you were gone?
