Description

Tired looking orange and white tabby with a primordial pouch (low hanging tummy). He ? has been living on my property for one month or so---as of today--March 23rd. I trapped him last night and placed him in a dog cage in the bat because I couldn't bear the idea of him out in this wet weather today. He is scared. Although he has been on a feeding schedule 2x a day for one month, he is still shy. Oddly, he will come up on my porch and stare in the windows. He does the same to my next door neighbor. Not afraid of their large dog. Have an April 16th appointment for him to be checked by F.U.R.R.'s vet staff.

Kevin's Finder Says

Thank you, everyone! I am late posting this--he was found by me March of 2024 and reunited home July of 2025. (This picture is when he was with me--after months of him living in my bat afraid of his own shadow.

So incredibly sad & not surprising anymore, if someone cannot afford to care for there pet, they can find a new home , work with a Vet, or a shelter, instead these people who dump or abandon animals like trash…. do this “because they can” & don’t consider pets family, & laws are not strong enough for “Animal Rights” Truth be told Humans many time are the “Most destructive, cruel Animals on this planet” Thank You & your family, for NOT being one of “them”!

Karen Morris Thank you, Karen. He will most likely be living with me and my 3 cats if I can't locate his former family, if he is healthy and if my cats agree--they are fine with him in his cage, so we will see!

This old boy is neutered. He will be going to get checked for a chip on Friday. I would be willing to bet he will also be chipped and not registered. He is the most lovely, loving individual I have ever brought in. If he is not claimed by his previous family and if he checks out health-wise and all of my cats agree which looks promising so far, I will adopt him so he can live out the remainder of his life here.

Lorraine Levin Carlin Thank you. He is the 3rd cat since August that I have brought inside. For years, our neighborhood did not have strays like this. Now, it feels like they are being intentionally dumped in our area. In August, I brought in a gorgeous part Siamese. Could not find the owner. He was chipped but not registered and an intact male. (?!) He now lives with my best friend and her husband. In November, I brought in that cat's friend, Bronson, a young tuxedo cat. Again, chipped but not registered and no bites on my online and in-person flyers. Bronson lives with me and is a perfect fit with my 2 older former ferals.

Sharing & Thank You for caring about him/her….I think he was dumped, or never had a safe loving INSIDE home. Since he/she seems to have picked “you”, I’m hoping you can take him inside permanently. After a time, a cat that’s been outside awhile will adjust to an inside life…..so much safer, & definitely chip. Good Luck!!!!!😻
