Michele Bruch The Humane society will not involve themselves. The police won't look for it, unless it's vicious and they are called. Animal Control will pick it up if someone calls it in. It will be there (WAS) for 3 days for testing. The dog will then be either Euthanized or sold depending on how it passes strick tests. Unless owner is found and pays fine and takes dog home. These lost and found sites are for the public to find dogs and owners without the complications of the city.
