Go back to the area where the cat was last seen, plaster the area with Lost flyers, put them in plastic paper protectors, with the open side facing down. Put flyers on porches, on street posts, in stores, markets,cafes, Laundromats. Go to the area where the cat was last seen with a flashlight,a bag of cat treats, a towel and a carrier,in case you find the cat, Calmly call the cat's name,then shake the treat bag, with the light, look under vehicles, in their wheel wells,knock on bumpers and fenders, slap the hoods (sometimes they crawl in these spaces for warmth and safety), Use the light to look under buildings,in between and behind buildings, in and around bushes and shrubbery, shine the light on rooftops, on decks, on windowsills,on fire escapes, on step outs, in all these places,use the light to expose the area, and to help catch the eye shine or reflection of the cat's eyes. Calmly call the cat's name,then shake the treat bag, if you find your cat, try to lure it into the carrier with fishy, wet cat food, or try to lure it towards you with the food, talk to it calmly, lure it out, or to you with the treats or food, if it lets you touch it, grasp it by the scruff of its neck,wrap the towel around it like a burrito, place it into the carrier from the top, or prop the carrier with the opening facing upwards, put the cat inside butt first, close it fast

Please post on Nextdoor in Cat Owner's group, and in Lost and Found Pets groups, post on Neighbors app, and activate the Search Party feature. They're good resources to notify the community. Post and search on Pawboost,LostMyKitty, PetcoLoveLost, 24PETCONNECT, they're good to post your pet on, and to search for the cat. They also offer free flyers for download, this one is on Canva.com
