Message from Owner

Peanut, has been missing for almost 2 weeks now. She is scared of people but she is very sweet. She isnt very nature smart or the brightest little nut so Im really worried about her survivability. I know she doesnt look like most peoples idea of a cute pup, but she is my entire world and has helped me through a lot. Please help us find her or let us know if you've seen her. Any and all help is appreciated 🤍 TIA

I hope you find Peanut 🐶 soon. 🤞Phone your local council's Ranger Services or pound ASAP & inform them that your dog 🐶 is lost & give them a photo(s) of your pet so they can keep a lookout for her. ***Important*** Ask the ranger how many days their pound holds dogs for, as it could be as little as ONLY THREE DAYS (if your dog isn’t microchipped) before they can adopt your dog to another person (if they’re unable to contact you). It's better to visit the pound regularly in person too to check if your dog 🐕 is impounded there. Don’t just rely on checking their website, as they mightn’t include details of all of the dogs impounded with them on there. Check with them first before visiting them as you may need an appointment. - If your dog 🐶 is microchipped, it’s vital you check that your contact details are current because the microchip database company HomeSafelD closed down sometime during 2025. • Can’t find the records of your dog’s microchip number? Contact their original vet as the number should be on their client records. • If your dog has a microchip, you can flag your dog as missing at Pet Address. Their website addresses is: https://petaddress.com.au/ - Also, check with as many other councils’ ranger services or pounds in-case your dog 🐶 is located in another area. - Contact vet clinics & vet hospitals & ask if he’s been found. If not, ask if you can leave your current phone number, description, age & breed of your dog & his or her recent photo. 🐕 Follow-up with them regularly. - A friendly reminder to put fresh water 💦 bowls 🥣 outside in the shade of your home everyday in case your dog 🐶 is nearby. I recommend that you also post on these Facebook groups: 1. ‘Pets of Perth - Lost & Found’ 2. ‘Lost and found pets in Perth’ 3. ‘Western Australian Lost Pets Register - WALPR’. - Also post on your local community group(s). - It might help you to keep a list of which Facebook groups that you post on about your lost dog 🐕 to help to make it easier if you receive any potential leads or helpful advice. Good luck with your search. 🔍 🍀
