Ginger tiger wearing flea collar, no tags

Message from Owner

Please help us find Archie. Five year old ginger tiger cat, 12 lbs, wearing a flea collar. He darted out the door last night at 10pm and climbed over our privacy fence. He has never been out overnight and refuses to drink water, so today's high temps worry us. He is very friendly and his brother misses him terribly! We live on Mossy Grove Ln, iff Morganton, 6 miles from Maryville.

The same thing happened to me with my cat. He accidentally got outside and didn’t return for two days. He was a 100% indoor cat, so I was extremely worried. I searched everywhere the first night but couldn’t find him. The following night, I left food outside on my porch and kept the back door slightly open. I put my other cat in my bedroom so he couldn’t get out. To my surprise, I heard something early the next morning. I got up and discovered that it was my missing cat! He came home around 4:00 a.m., when everything was completely quiet. Don’t lose hope. Cats often hide nearby when they are frightened and come back late at night when there is no noise or activity. I truly hope your baby returns home safely very soon. 🙏🐾

Go around late at night calling them with food and flashlight to catch their eyes. Check around your neighborhood under houses and in small places where they may hide. Put stuff out that has yours and their scent on it. Hang flyers around for people to see. Check shelters and vets daily. Update chip info if they have a chip and its has not been update since a move. Ask neighbors to check in their garages incase they ended up trapped in one. I pray you get your baby back safe and soon.

UPDATE: This ornery guy was scratching at the back door this morning as I fed his brother. May have gotten chased home since his tail was fluffed out when I opened the door. Happy to have him home unharmed. Thank you all!!

Most likely leaving the door open. Checking with neighbors and I would give young Williams a call. If he doesn't show back up by tomorrow morning physically go in to the shelter and take them pictures

Extremely important to leave your door open. He is probably terrified and scared to come to you even when you look for him. Just leave the door open. Put his brother up check with neighbors. Please take my advice that I've sent
