Message from Owner

Missing as of 8:30am today, three-legged soft hair Wheaton terrier named George. Very shy, not aggressive and likely will not run if found. Walked out of a gate unexpectedly left open in our fenced in backyard this morning. If found please call. He is microchipped but is not wearing a collar. We so appreciate anyone that can help us find our sweet boy, George.

Thank you all. We ran a thermal drone extensively in the neighborhood last night without any luck. Police and shelter reports have been filed too. Getting flyers out today, and contacting shelters again. We have liquid smoke and our clothes and dog bed in the front yard. I was able to confirm this morning he was not chipped by the shelter we adopted him from 6 years ago. Thank you for the continued positive thoughts and all the support as we try to find our sweet boy.

Go knocking door to door asking your neighbors within a 2-3 block radius. Hand them a flyer with a photo of your cat/dog and a telephone number to be reached at. Hang up flyers outside and protect them with a plastic sleeve from the weather.

Call the police and report it incase someone has called them saying they found a dog. Ask them who your local animal control is and who your local animal shelters are. I would call them and check them in person too

Very important! If your cat/dog is microchipped PLEASE double check to make sure the microchip is REGISTERED and up to date with your current information and telephone number incase someone finds your cat/dog and takes it somewhere to get scanned so that they can call you. You should have the chip number in your paperwork from who IMPLANTED the chip in. You will need the BRAND of chip to be able to call them and check to see if it is REGISTERED and up to date. If you only have the number and Not the BRAND of chip you can enter it for free on this national website. When you enter the chip number in it will ONLY tell you the BRAND of chip so that you can call them and check to see if it is REGISTERED and up to date with your current information and telephone number. https://www.aaha.org/for-veterinary-professionals/microchip-search/
