Laura Nelson’s Tips Please go out at night after traffic noise has down, shine flash light under bushes and things cat can hide under and also in trees. Check out any green spots looking back at you. Call cat and wait for a meow back. Also start from where cat went missing for a radius of 2 miles, knock on doors and ask in person if they will check sheds, garages, window wells, and other outside buildings for cat. ALSO, put cats bed or an old pair of your tennis shoes to help cat know where your porch is. NOT, a litter box that will attract other animals that may keep your cat away. Scared cats usually don't travel far from where they go missing and will wait for YOU to come find them. Also stop by local shelters and rescues everyother day to see if cat has been. turned in. GOOD LUCK and leave flyers door to door and at neigbhorhood businesses as they will allow. also put a poster in front of your home. You can find the county animal shelter and shelters in your area online. most shelters will host an online lost and found pets page. plus, if humanly possible do go to nearby shelters in person at least every other day. best wishes.

I know some of you disapprove but some of us have cats who allowed outdoor. Don’t pick one up a healthy well feed cat. If they appear uncared for and hungry that is a different story.

I live nearby and this is so heartbreaking. Have you checked with animal control? Have you gone door to door asking neighbors all around if they’ve seen her and pleading with them to check garages, sheds, window wells, and hiding places? Have you taped a flier on tons of houses? Have you put out her bedding, food, and litter box? I’m attaching a paragraph on ways to find a lost cat. I hope so much you find her!!! PLEASE READ the article. THIS REALLY WORKS.

Those tips are are crucial🐾💕. Please do not delay with getting flyers distributed right away (go door to door & actually talk to people).... make at least 60 1/2 page flyers (30 sheets 2 to a page) & 10 full sheet flyers in sheet protectors (office depot) to staple to wood posts. Staple rubber bands to the 1/2 sheet flyers so you can still leave it if they don't answer the door. This has been the most effective way that at least 9 cats have been recovered recently. I sure hope you get them back & they never get out again💕🐾.
