There's no such thing as a lost cat. Cats know EXACTLY where they live. Either something horrendous happened or it just had enough of the owners.

DM Johnson I said put the used kitty litter not his box!! My cat has marked his territory around my house because he is an indoor outdoor cat . That lets anyone else know that that’s his turf.
