MESSAGE FROM OWNER

Trampy first appeared in our yard during lockdown July 24th 2020. He was in a really bad way, had chronic breathing problems and was painfully thin. Over time we have nurtured him back to health and gained his trust. He is a real free spirit and chooses to spend most of his time outdoors although he is very welcome indoors and even has his own bed and feeding area. He also has an outdoor , a cat cabin that is warm and cosy and protects him from the elements. Since he arrived some 3 and a half years ago he has become an every day part of life, he has 3 regular meals a day and plenty of treats and fuss. It’s very unlike him to go missing and all kinds of scenarios are going through our minds as to what could of happened to him. All we want is to know he is safe and not in any danger or discomfort. Please if anyone has any news, even if it’s the worst, then please let us know. Come Trampy, we miss you πŸ˜’πŸˆβ€β¬›β€οΈ

If I’ve sent you this before please pass along to others that may need help. I pray your cat comes home soon. If she/he is an indoor cat it will typically stay in a 3 to 7 house radius of her home. Indoor/outdoor cats can be up to 17 + houses away. It will hide all day and only come out very late at night. It will not typically come when called. The majority of cats came home between 2 and 4 AM. Leave your garage and porch doors open. Around 10PM put out rotisserie chicken (warm, the smell really carries). Throughout the night get up and go out side. Walk the 3 to 5 house radius and call softly, listen carefully, it could be stuck up in a tree or locked in a neighbor's garage. One man set his alarm and got up every hour and another slept on the couch and heard the cat scratching at the door. I recently heard of one rescue who takes chicken stock and makes a trail of it from the street or yard up to the house. They even poured it up in the bushes and trees where the wind could carry the smell. You will lose sleep, but this has worked time and time again. There is a very helpful video on YouTube called β€œHow to find a lost cat.” Good luck Don’t give up! A local blind cat was found after a month!
