Message from Finder

This cutie is definitely missing their home! They are so sweet and friendly and very obviously well cared for. I have two cats and a dog myself, and can’t imagine not knowing their whereabouts. Please help me get them back to their family!!

God bless you and thank you for saving this Cats’s life. I totally agree with you. You can take this baby to any Petsmart and Banfield in the back will check for free for a microchip. Please call today and get Banfield’s hours. If this cat isn’t microchipped there’s a couple things you need to do. Please call the Irvine animal shelter and tell them you found this cat and fax a picture. Owners always frantically call shelters to see if someone has dropped their cat off there. In addition, not everyone is on Facebook please post on nextdoor.com. It goes out to people everywhere in your area. Also post on all lost pet sites. Keep checking on Pawboost because owners always post on there. If you’re kind enough, you could post some flyers around the area saying found Cat with your phone number on it. Anyway, thank you again for keeping this beautiful Cat safe. Please let us know what happens.

Thank you for being so kind to help keep this kitty safe. Are you able to secure inside to keep from a coyote getting him/her? 🐾 IF YOU FIND A CAT 🐾 Here’s what to do to help reunite a lost kitty with their family: 1. Post Online Share the found cat on local lost/found pet Facebook pages and neighborhood apps like: • Nextdoor • PawBoost • Ring Neighborhood • Local community groups 2. Check for a Microchip Take the cat to a nearby veterinarian or animal shelter to be scanned for a microchip. • Many animal rescuers have their own scanner and may be able to help. • Always use a secure cat crate or carrier to prevent escapes. 3. Put Up “FOUND CAT” Signs Not everyone is on social media! Post signs around the neighborhood - especially near where the cat was found. 4. File a Found Report This is very important. Contact your local animal shelter to report the found cat: • Irvine Animal Shelter 📞 949-724-7740 5. Foster if You Can If you’re able, please foster the cat while trying to locate the owner. It keeps them safe and off the streets. 6. Verify Ownership Ask anyone claiming the cat to provide proof of ownership, such as: • Photos of the cat • Vet records • Identifying details
