I’m looking for some help trying to locate this baby she’s been missing since yesterday when she bolted. We think she’s hiding somewhere as she ran into the neighbours back yard. She’s a indoor only cat and only been with us a month as I’m fostering for a friend who’s working remote. I’ve posted this on Craigslist, Facebook, Reddit and our neighborhood group chat we just want her home safe. Here’s my number Jay

Many indoor cats return when it's quiet and dark usually between 9:00 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. so if it is possible, leave the door/window (or garage) open slightly for her to return. If you have any other pets secure them in a room for the night. This works well for these indoor cats that get out. Put out some worn clothing with your scent and keep calling for her frequently as she should hear your voice. Check your yard and ask your neighbor if you can check their yards/patios/bushes thoroughly with a good flashlight. Put up lots of posters with a large colored picture of her around your area. You can also purchase a humane trap at Rona, Canadian tire or on Marketplace. This method works well for these shy indoor cats that get out. Line the bottom of the trap with newspaper and cover the sides and top with a sheet...don't cover the back. You would have to Google how to set it up properly to trap a cat for best results.
