I have seen this cat at the Miramar College campus since mid-June. I could tell she was not feral, but she also wouldn't allow me to grab her. On July 23rd I set my cat trap and trapped her. I took her to the vet where they confirmed she has a microchip and gave me the microchip number. The microchip company said there was no listed owner or vet attached to the chip. All the microchip said is that it's a female and she is spayed. Now that she knows she is safe at my home she is very sweet and affectionate so clearly she had a home at some point. I have driven through all the apmt complexes surrounding Miramar College on Gold Coast Drive and do not see any lost cat signs. I have also posted her on the Nextdoor app and Facebook Mira Mesa lost and found pets page.
