Calico and very small. Outdoor cat that is 13 years old. Clipped left ear.

Message from Owner

We have had Turtle living on our front porch for 13 yrs. She vanished on Aug 1 or close and want her home. Our family is heartbroken. 😢 We know she was old but would travel approximately 300 yards from our hse and always came home when we called her name. Please help.

What to do if you lose your Cat 1. Search all places inside and around your house as cats can hide in small places. 2. Shake their treat bag and softly call their name. 3. Search at dusk and dawn with a flashlight as the light will pick up their eyes. Outside they tend to hide under shrubs, under porches, in open sheds & drainage ditches. You can shake their treats while looking outside too. 4. Put something with your scent on it outdoors, on a porch or deck or in your garage with the door cracked. Sometimes the scent brings them home. You can also put their litter box outside but depending on where you live, it could bring out predators. 5. Post on nextdoor & the Ring Neighbor app. 6. Post on pawboost. You can download a free flyer here. 7. Post on FB Lost & Found Groups 8. Make a lost pet report to all the local shelters especially in areas that have close boundaries. 9. Post on PetFBI site and use .org as the ending. 10. If chipped, report to chip company but don’t forget to change status when your cat is found. 11. Ask your neighbors to check their garages and sheds. Your cat may be coming around at night.
