shelters are the first place families look, and continue checking, and may not be on social media. if you can't hold on to the dog due to your circumstances you have a legal obligation to take to the shelter.

thank you for securing someone's lost pet, keeping safe and posting. the EASIEST and QUICKEST way for a finder to reunite a lost pet is have them scanned for a chip. if this pup is chipped he/she could be back home in a few hours. please make sure they scan the whole body and the legs. scanning a second time is always recommended just to be sure. microchips are known to migrate over time and can be missed
