Boots on the ground - Walk ur neighborhood check window wells, under decks, inside bushes, sheds, garages, under or behind dumpsters, under staircases etc. Shake bag of cat food as u are walking calling out, calling by name, saying are u hungry, bring flashlight. Some Cats will hide during day and roam at night when it's quiet. Knock on doors and ASK permission to search their backyards. Post Flyer's on neighbor's doors

I hope you find him. We had a Snowshoe very similar to yours. She lived just short of 18 yrs old. She was the best cat ever!

Get out calling Kitty's name especially early and late when it's quiet. Search for the flashlight high and low. Put up posters with number large enough to be seen while driving. And post on nextdoor com

🐾 Lost Cat Search Tips • Go out late at night and early in the morning with a flashlight. Call your cat’s name, then pause and listen carefully. If you don’t hear anything, keep moving slowly through the area. • Check hiding spots nearby, including: • Garages • Window wells • Under cars • Bushes and shrubs • Decks and porches • Talk to your neighbors and ask them to check their properties, sheds, and garages. • Place dirty laundry or familiar-smelling items outside your home to help your cat find their way back. • Contact your cat’s microchip company and report them as lost. • Check local animal shelters frequently—visit in person if possible. • Post on: • Facebook lost & found pet groups • PawBoost • Create flyers and posters with a clear photo and your contact info. Hand them out and place them in visible areas. • ⚠️ Do NOT put out a litter box, as it can attract other animals and may discourage your cat from returning.
