Message from Owner

URGENT - MISSING NOISETTE -PLEASE HELP- Our beloved one-year-old Noisette has been missing since Saturday, November 1, 2025. She is an indoor female cat but made the big jump and escaped somehow. We hoped she’ll find her way back but she didn’t. We are extremely worried about her, it’s already very cold at night and we know she won’t make it out there, zero chances! She is a 1 year female Colico with white far almost a white triangle on her face, tiny and thin. She wears two collars, one orange and one yellow with small blue fish. She has an AppleTag that stopped sending signals on Westover, Kanata, Arcadia neighborhood just behind Tanger Outlet. Please check around/inside your grge, she’d, or/and porch, any hiding place you believe an animal could use to hide. She left an unbearable void in our family, her human brothers think she’s just hiding and doesn’t want to play with them. As for her brother, it breaks my heart to see him looking for her before bed time, they were extremely close…I recognize now this voice, he cries when he doesn’t see her and sleeps in her bed now!!! PLEASE HELP US FIND HER PLEASE If you think you you saw her please call or text us at this# Thank you for your support!

Going out late at night when it's quiet and calling her/his name, tapping a s on a can might help.

Put out her/his bedding (because cat's scent already on it). If you have other pets, secure them then keep a door a bit open. She/He might be hiding close by, so she/he would be able to come back. Keep calling her/his name, check the neighbors garages, in case she/he went in but couldn't get out. File a lost pet with OHS (Or local SPCA), it can be done online. Also check OHS (or local SPCA) for found cats to see if someone found your cat and brought him there. When you post her/his picture, her/his description, time and date and location in your neighborhood share the same information with the local veterinarian clinics in case someone finds her/him and brings her/him for microchip scanning. Check in a pet microchip database (if your cat microchipped)your cat's microchip number to ensure your information is up-to-dated. If not, update it along with her/his current situation.

Record her brother cat meowing for her, go out & playback to see if she will return by hearing him.

A good list of things to do is on the Toronto Humane Society website, as well as www.catsinthebag.org (Click in the actual link, not the box.) Also get signs up and file a lost report with Animal Services/local shelters, and keep checking their listings. Make sure your microchip is registered, and the company has your up to date info. And here is some helpful info: https://www.missinganimalresponse.com/lost-cat-behavior/ Post on Neighbourhood/community groups too.
