I am the one who has the dog, young stray female appears to be a lab but I’m not sure, 1 year old or younger with a collar on 3/18 at around 12:15am while getting gas at thorntons, I have the location pinned with the photos. I tried contacting Rutherford county paws after hours and left a voicemail. They gave me a time to drop her off and that would be the end of it, however I am looking for alternatives rescues to take her because she is such a sweet dog. Checked for a chip and she does not have one, she is extremely malnourished, unfortunately. I believe she may have been lost for a while or abandoned with the state she is in. We have been keeping her in our crate. She is house trained and knows a few tricks. I waited around the gas station for about 20-30 minutes after I was done getting gas just to see if she would make her way home or if anyone came to look for her but she just wondered around the parking lot begging people for food. I’ve made a post on paw boost hoping to alert folks in the area and have been searching high and low on every group I could look up to see if anyone has lost this sweet girl. You must be able to tell me what color her collar is and give me a name to see if she is yours before I surrender her back to you. I would love to be able to reunite her with her family but for now, she is safe and cared for♥️
