So close! But actually you still missed the point! Dogs should not be left unattended in vehicles. The risk associated with leaving your dogs in vehicles is not limited to overheating. ‘Do not leave valuable items in your vehicle’ is not exclusive to inanimate objects. You would not leave a 2 year old in a car alone for an hour, so why is it acceptable to leave a creature with roughly the IQ of a 2 year old alone in a car for an hour?
