Put up some signs maybe intersections where cars slow, if you can. Are there gullies or places like that near you where he might be stuck or lost? Lots of cats disappeared during Lala for no obvious reason - no floods or crashing trees - just rain and gone. If there are areas like that be sure to search - or post signs asking neighbors if they can check any gulches or streams whatever near them. You could also send postcards to all the houses within a couple blocks - or just leave a flyer on a rubbish bin after it's emptied [I used tape once]. Also take a barefoot walk in the evening if he's near he may pick up your scent that way.
