If chipped make sure owner contact info is current with chip company. File online lost reports with shelters. Post on Nextdoor and post flyers. Check Craigslist lost and found and pets for sale ads. Keep checking shelters online and in person.

You need to put on the Nextdoor App daily every other so nobody forgets because every time people make new posts it bumps all the posts down and people will start for getting as you know how many keep posting.... You do know why you're not hearing anything Because you're assuming somebody's gonna find the dog and that's the bad assumption you need to get out there looking every day hours..In every post put MISSING with date and time escaped,put area like North Sac if is,cross street with El Camino Ave and #'s to call if any potential spottings so you can go right away its super critical.EVERY OWNER very aware there responsibility to report missing to chip company.Also double check with them the chip not only got registered and they have entered your #'s,email and address correctly..NEVER ASSUME your at fault if you do one big reason there at the shelters.Post to Neighborsring App put # in this post and cross street with El Camino Ave.....File lost report with Frontstreet shelter if Animal Control finds in City of Sac they will take to Frontstreet...If find in Sac County going East of Howe Ave they will take to Bradshaw shelter.Bradshaw is closed on Mondays for public to bring in...Check both websites daily and DO NOT rely on them.Get in there every other day or two ask them to look up chip Id to see if Toby came in even deceased..Deceased not on websites..Go in person as often as possible.Check paths you take on walks..Get big florescent signs up
