saw this beautiful gal on the drive out on Dike Road we weren't able to get close enough to see if she had tags on her collar, but she was wearing a harness and had another dog with her. Not sure if they're local to that area but they looked thirsty and maybe a little skinny, she did not care for us approaching her so we were unable to really get a good look beyond the picture

Taron T. Webb I think Kathy Danielson was commenting that there have been SO MANY lost dog notices lately, and dont you agree that many of the lost, found dogs really aren't maintained with care. In today's world it can be very bad for a dog to be running free. I know about dogs escaping home & getting lost, but there really does seem to be so many lately.

This is an unfair and judgmental thing to say on this page. A puppy can get out by accident, and they can get overstimulated to where they get lost. Ideally, if they manage to get out they come back home, but not a lot of them are capable of navigating or tracking themselves back home. A lot of people that you see posting lost pets would die for their pets. No one here should be trying to shame someone for a pet escaping or getting lost, this page is specifically for helping them get found, especially in times of cold weather or high heat. They said this pup was wearing a harness, so someone somewhere cared enough her and is probably losing their minds looking for her.

sad. why is there so many lost dogs. owners need to care more. if you don’t commit to owning a dog as family from the beginning don’t get one. it’s not fair to the animal.
