Violet Turaco
Message from Finder
Saw a bird on my walk this morning that I've never seen before. Got the best picture I could and I think it is a Violet Turaco...which are not native to Florida. Saw it take flight and from about mid wing to the tip is crimson red. Thought I would share in the thoughts someone may have lost their pet bird or it's missing from a zoo or rescue. Sighting was at the corner of SE 30 Ct and SE 50th Place in Ocala. I do not have possession, it was just a sighting in my neighborhood.
