With a flashlight and a bag of cat treats, walk the neighborhood where the cat is lost, calmly call the cat's name, and with the light,look under vehicles,in their wheel wells, look in and around bushes and shrubbery,up trees, in between buildings,near garbage bins,shine the light on windowsills,on upper level decks,on fire escapes, use the light to help you see the eye shine,glow, or reflection of the cat's eyes. Calmly call the cat's name,then shake the treat bag, repeat these actions throughout the neighborhood where the cat is lost every night between late night to right before dawn. Put a dish,not a can of fishy wet food outside where the cat escaped from, put a mini Blink camera facing the food,or similar minicam, and from your devices, observe what animals go up to the food,if you see your cat, later, or the next night, set up a humane trap near the escape point,put the food dish inside, point the minicam at the trap,or put it inside to see what animals go inside and to avoid an ambush
