Probably is very close to home just scared & hiding. Look in the early morning hours and late at night when it is quiet outside. Notify the microchip company.

🙏❤️If lost close to home ...leave a door slightly open especially at night .... worked for our pet. Found them sleeping on the couch the next morning . Pets that are lost and scared most often will hide in underbrush tickets or shrubs close to home and feel safe to come out at night to find their way home

Tips to find an indoor cat. Go out at night and early am as that is when he will try to get back inside. Time is of the essence. Crack open a window at night to listen for meows. Open garage door and then door leading into the home and he might walk back inside on his own. If you don’t have a garage open door he got out of. Do this at dusk. Post on Next Door. Ask neighbors to check garages and sheds and under decks. Let local police know in case someone finds him that’s not on social media. Good luck

Put clothes with your scent outside and check bushes and trees with a flashlight at night shake bag of treats or dry food and call it's name

Try Going out late at night ie midnight and again early am ie 5 or 6 am with their smelly food and treats. Shake treat bag and call out their name. Take a flashlight and check under porches and bushes. Also if you can leave a basement window and garage door open so they can get in. Do for multiple days if needed. Good luck. Kitties don’t usually go far from home
